Job Description:

Senior Manager Indirect Tax the work would be centered around Tax planning and would involve some of the following:

• Actively leading the thought leadership in Indirect Tax Service (VAT or Value added Tax and Customs Duty etc)
• Development and implementation of new tax strategies, and for understanding and supporting existing strategies
• Establishes and maintain processes that ensure compliance is timely, accurate and adequately documented for audits.
• Manage VAT team and take responsibility for development of individuals
• Oversees the sales and use tax function, including compliance, audits, policy and planning
• Lead a highly motivated and trained team
• Ensuring compliance of all aspects of taxation
• Maintaining an overview of all International Taxation related matters
• Identify business development opportunities and take these to market
• Agree budgets and performance objectives for the team

• CA with 7 to 12 of experience in Indirect Taxation (VAT or Value added Tax and Customs Duty etc)
• A commitment to delivering leading solutions for the clients
• Strong drive, with leadership qualities complemented by being a team player
• An outward-looking, people-oriented personality with great communication skills
• Excellent research, report writing skills complemented by an analytical mind
